About SaveThat.video
SaveThat.video is a free online tool that lets you download videos from TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, Reddit, Facebook, and more. Paste a link, pick your format, and download. That's the whole product.
Why we built this
Most video downloader sites are full of fake download buttons, popups, and redirects. The actual download is buried under layers of misleading UI. We wanted something that just works: paste a URL, get your file.
The technical work of fetching a video URL is straightforward. The clutter around it on other sites is a choice. We made a different one.
What SaveThat supports
We support any platform where downloading publicly available content is technically feasible and where there's genuine user demand. That currently includes:
- TikTok (videos, slideshows, audio)
- Instagram (Reels, Stories, video posts, photos)
- Twitter/X (videos, GIFs)
- Reddit (videos with sound)
- Facebook (Reels, video posts)
- Plus Pinterest, Twitch, Vimeo, SoundCloud, Streamable, Dailymotion, and more
We add new platforms when it makes sense. If something you need isn't supported, let us know.
How it works
When you paste a link, SaveThat extracts the direct video URL from the platform's public CDN and hands it to your browser for download. The file goes straight from the source to your device. We don't store, re-host, or modify any content.
You get the original quality the creator uploaded, typically 1080p for most platforms. No re-encoding, no compression, no watermarks added by us.
Privacy and content
We only access publicly available content. If a creator has made their account private, disabled downloads, or restricted access, we respect that. We don't bypass authentication or break any platform's access controls.
We don't require an account, don't collect personal information, and don't track what you download. If you're a content creator and need something addressed, see our DMCA page.
Free to use
SaveThat.video is completely free. No premium tier, no download limits, no account required. We plan to add minimal display ads in the future to cover server costs, but nothing deceptive.
