Why Slideshows Are Different From Regular Videos
A regular TikTok video is a single MP4 file. A slideshow is not. Behind the scenes, it's a set of JPEG or PNG images paired with a separate audio file. TikTok's app plays them together in sequence, but they're stored as separate pieces on their servers.
This is why so many download tools get slideshows wrong. They look for a video file, don't find one, and either error out or return just the images. What the Output Looks Like
