What format does the download come in?
SoundCloud tracks download as MP3 files. They play in any music app, car stereo, or media player without conversion.
Can I download SoundCloud tracks without an account?
Yes. You only need the URL of the track. Public SoundCloud content is accessible without logging in.
Why can't I download some tracks?
Some artists set their tracks to private or restrict downloads. If a track is private or unavailable, SaveThat can't access it either. Only public tracks work.
Does this work for SoundCloud mixes and podcasts?
Yes, as long as the mix or podcast episode is publicly available. Paste the URL of the set or episode and it downloads the same way as a regular track.
What quality is the downloaded audio?
We fetch the best quality stream SoundCloud makes available for that track. Quality varies by what the artist uploaded, but most tracks are 128kbps or higher.
Can I download a full playlist or album?
Currently SaveThat downloads one track at a time. Paste each track URL individually. Playlist batch downloads are not supported yet.
